Geocache Description:

One of the Cheltenham Circular Caching Challenge, a series of in excess of 100 caches of a variety of terrains and difficulties set around the Cheltenham Circular Footpath set by a variety of Cheltenham’s cachers

The Cheltenham Circular Challenge takes place annually around Cheltenham's Circular Footpath
The 26-ish mile route simply too good an opportunity so it now has over 100 caches, a challenge that could be done in a day or in sections.
To add to the fun of the distance and number of caches, various along the route have clues. The discovery of all of them will lead you to a puzzle cache somewhere in the Cheltenham urban area. There’s also a blend of terrain / difficulty ratings, container sizes and one each of the caching types to add to the fun. The trail starts at Cheltenham Race Course with #1, and the caches are numbered clockwise. But you could of course start and stop anywhere along the path.
If you can't manage it in a day, then why not stay around the area. Cheltenham Borough Council have a tourist information office that will help you with a number of things, including accomodation.

This one is named after Jason Eaton, the man who scored Cheltenham Town's winning goal in the FA Trophy Final at Wembley in May 1998.
The cache is a 35mm film pod hidden at the gate.

Note: the route to the next one in the series (going clockwise around) follows the western side of the fence (watch out for the spring!), then takes a dog leg through the bottom of the field, past the "stand-alone" kissing gate and then back in a westerly direction marked by the posts.
