A pretty ordinary cache container near a really nice overlook with a view of Camel's Hump. Parts of the trail are a fairly steep climb, and some spots can be mucky and slippery when wet. Exercise care on the rocks and at the overlook.
I've lived in the area awhile, but never explored this part of Bolton. Zebra Girl, one of the Johnny Appleseeds of Vermont geocaching, said, "We need to go up this road and see what's there." We found the Bolton Quarry, a wonderful natural area popular among rock climbers. Starting from a different trailhead than her nearby Needle In A Rock Pile, we came across this wonderful spot, about a 10 minute hike from the parking area.
