Geocache Description:

Quick grab and go cache at 6525 feet above sea level

Cache is a small green container with a log only. BYOP

My fathers nickname was "Short Shot" and this cache is placed in his honor and memory. This road cuts quite a few miles off the distance from our home in Craig to the fun and adventure found on the headwaters of Elk River and it's tributaries. My father used to drive us up this one on our frequent family outings. The population density has increased over the years but the beauty is still here.
This is the redo of the first such cache placed just a short way from this location. It dissapeared and new houses were built close by making this a better spot.
