Tribute to Reg Traditional Cache

This cache has been placed as a "Tribute to Reg", our dad, father-in-law & grandpa.

IMPORTANT: There is a smallish rock hiding the cache container from muggles. Please be stealthy and replace the smallish rock as this has been muggled a few times.

Reg loved fishing and one of his favourite restaurants was right here in Steveston. Although he kept his boat moored in North Richmond, we thought this would be great place for the cache due to it's fishing history.

Rod (Reg's son) has many great memories of their fishing trips in various boats. We would fish both fresh and salt water and he was always on the hunt for that elusive large Chinook or Coho Salmon.

Traci (Reg's daughter) fondly remembers when he played hockey as a goalie and the time spent at ice rinks when we were small. We spent most of our formative years going on many, many different camping trips all through BC. Dad was always active and water skiing was a big part of our summers while we were growing up.

From time to time we will post small stories of things we remember about Reg.

When you log your visit find please tell us something about someone who meant a lot to you. Here are the items we placed in the cache to start it off:

• A kids deck of kids “Rummy” playing cards because dad loved kids and besides being a kid at heart he loved to play cards.
• A Crazeraser Hammer because dad was always fixing things around the house and building things for his kids.
• A Crazeraser Guitar because in his early 20s dad liked to dress, style his hair and play guitar like Chet Atkins.
• 2 Glow in the Dark Fish because fishing was dad's favorite thing to do!
• A Glow in the Dark Spider because Traci is terrified of spiders and whenever the “Spider Scream” was... well screamed dad always came to the rescue.
• A geocaching patch, some geocaching stickers & geocaching buttons because dad probably would have enjoyed geocaching.

FTF Prize is a Timmies card because coffee was his 2nd favourite drink. Beer was his first! So go have a coffee and if possible when you get home a cold one for Reg!
