Hailstorm 2012

On June 4, 2012, there was a great hailstorm producing golf ball sized hail that ripped through a small area about a mile radius of where this Geocache was placed. Unfortunately, -WARLOCK'S- neighborhood is very close to GZ and not only was his car and his neighbors' cars damaged but oddly enough this geocache container withstood severe damage as well.

Determined to live on, -WARLOCK- placed this cache not only as a testament to the willpower for the container to survive but as a tribute to the first Geocache that he ever saw, which was a keyholder placed just a stonesthrow away. Located at New Ballwin Park, this cache can be accessed from Dawn to Dusk and parking can be found about 100ft to the North. Note: as of 8/18/2012 this cache went missing. The replacement cache was placed in a slightly different spot than before. See attributes and Owner Maintenance on logbook. Any logs that are on the website that cannot be matched with a physical signature on the paper logbook itself will be deleted so don't bother logging this as found if you can't sign the logbook.
