Geocache Description:

This is a three part multi cache with all parts a short distance from well defined trails. Some of these trails are steep and or narrow, don't forget your walking staff and good tread hikers. All parts are placed on public hunting grounds,PLEASE be seen, wear an orange vest and hat. There is NO repelling or rock climbing allowed on or in the area of Angel Falls. The hides are not difficult to find, the idea for this cache is that more people may enjoy this area.

This cache is placed in the Loyalsock State Forest with permission from DCNR Bureau of Forestry in one of the most UNIQUE areas I have ever seen. The trail leading from the parking area to stage one is the Loyalsock Trail, the first stream by the parking area is Ogdonia Run which you will need to cross to find what you are looking for,STAGE ONE.By stage one down stream there is an unmarked well used trail that you need to travel on along Ogdonia Run and up along Falls Run,follow your GPS, to stage two. From stage two you will see Gibson Falls, this falls is just a warm up to what waits. If there are young cachers along on the hike PLEASE be very observant as there are some areas that could be hazardous. If you plan your hike according to the rain fall the streams have many rocky areas to cross. From stage two you will have to cross Falls Run,yes there is a trail there and this is where the walk in the park gets a bit tough, heart pumping. Here good hikers are needed and a hiking staff is almost a must.As you make your upward trek to the final part there is a vantage points by some Hemlocks where you can observe what Falls Run has done over a million years or two winding it's way on down threw crevasses carved in rock. This area has a few drop offs,BE CAREFUL.As you make your upward climb from Gibson Falls what appears to be a logging road this will take you to the bottom of the Angel Falls, see the waypoint listed below. From here you must follow the BLUE marked trail to the vicinity of the final. When you are at the top of Angel Falls YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL ! Over the years it has been documented that there had been three people fell off the top of the falls and two did not survive.Geocaching,DCNR or myself are not responsible,Be careful ! From the FINAL you must follow the BLUE marked trail UP STREAM to the Loyalsock Trail then SOUTH WEST on the Lt back to your cache-mobile.The round trip is approximately 3+/- miles.Do like I do when I visit this area, pack a lunch or snack and a bottle or two of water, take your time and enjoy.Remember CITO.It may be a good idea to print this cache page or save it to your PDA or cell.BTW there is NO cell service in this area. The final ammo can is LOADED with decent swag and also some FTF items. This find is the way,I feel, Geocaching is meant to be,old school.Remember;."You Must Have Fun"™This cache must be removed or re approved by 6/27/15 per DCNR guidelines.
