Geocache Description:


This is a very neat little oasis in the desert that is not very well known and we would like to share it with all of you whether you already know about it or not.

This event will take place at the
China Ranch Date Farm at 11am.
It is a family run, working, Date farm. Wander through rows and rows of Date Palms from various parts of the world. Sample freshly plucked dates, or stop into the on site bakery for some fresh, home-made date nut bread or one of their delicious (and highly recommended) Date Shakes! Take the time to look around and experience the nature and wildlife. Or if you choose to hang around for the day to experience them, there are several hiking trails in the area.

If you plan to attend from the Las Vegas area, we will be hosting a quick meet up event at which time you are more than welcome to arrange car pooling plans or simply join our travelling convoy en route to the farm.
