Geocache Description:

A cammoflagged pill bottle with log only. BYOP

This little cache is definitely a survivor! Originally it was called "Wild Turkeys" and placed in a hole made by a woodpecker in a tree that rotted, it was moved a few feet to hang on a branch in a pine tree. When my brother decided to "trim" the branches, this little cache had to relocate (once we found it on the ground nearby), so we moved it once again to another branch. Driving by one day, I realized the tree was missing! When I asked my brother if he "saved" the cache, he said he couldn't find it, but it was probably buried in the huge pile of brush nearby!!!!! Well, I wasn't going to dig through that to find the cache, so I archived it.


Another day while visiting, my brother happened to tell me that when he was burning the brush pile he happened to notice the little cache laying on the ground nearby the fire, but it was unharmed! How could that be? Sure enough, he handed me the container and it was fine. We had to re-hide it, in yet another nearby location, because it is a survivor and it's meant to be found.


This cache is re-placed in honor of all of my family members and friends who have survived many of life's obstacles.
