Bolt Camp Shelter, 2.5 miles from the trailhead (NW Forest Pass required), was constructed around 1921 by shake bolt cutters. It was restored by volunteers in 1991. Now 2012 and it is in need of another rebuild, damaged by winter storms. But someone wants to rebuild the shelter and has left contact information.
