Look to the North West. The Crown Point Road travels towards the Lake. This view is one of the very best in this series...enjoy.
Not far from this cache, the Crown Point Road divided. A spur travelled toward Fort Ticonderoga and the main road headed toward Crown Point.
A Tavern was located just south of this point. This was the equivalent of an interstate highway during the mid 18th century.
