This is the third and final of my military caches located along the atv trails within Alleghany National Forest. Its high upon the demanding obstacles of the Bike Trail. My friends and I endure this brutal trail about three times every summer. But our friend Andy will be checking on it periodically by foot from Route 66. If you choose to access it from this point also, there is a place to park off the road at the edge of the trail. It will still be a short hike up tough terrain though.
The cache is a large night vision googles case containing small notable military items. Hopefully those with the endurance and fortitude to conquer the course, will find special rewards for their determination. Soldier up and be safe. And if possible, leave military items in return.
