Mt. Akagi
Mt. Akagi (Akagiyama) is one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains. There are some caldera lakes on the top of the mountain such as Onuma, Kakuman-buchi, and so on. They are surrounded by several peaks. Although there are some trails from the foothills, almost all the people use the Akagi Visitor Center as the base because there are free parking lots and a bus stop. The highest peak is Kurobisan whose altitude is 1,828m. There is a first order triangulation station on Jizodake whose altitude is 1,674m.
By the way, although the shown coordinates indicate the Onuma lake, the actual cache is not placed there because this is an unknown cache. If you wish to find this cache, please collect A-codes (Akagi-code) written on containers of following caches. Please convert them to numerical value using Table 1 below. 赤城山
赤城山は日本百名山のひとつです。山頂付近は中央に火山によるカルデラ湖である大沼等があり、その周辺をいくつかのピークで囲んでいる形になっています。もちろん長い裾野の山麓から登っていくこともできますが、たいていはバス停や駐車場(無料)のある赤城山ビジターセンター周辺をご利用されるのではないでしょうか。最高地点は黒檜山（1,828m）です。一等三角点があるのは地蔵岳（1,674m）で、こちらは一等三角点百名山になっています。
