Carievale Village Cemetery Cache Traditional Cache

Cache is placed at Carievale cemetery in conjunction with event cache " Caching, SE Saskatchewan style, 2012.

The first Carievale cemetery was established prior to 1900 but was closed and moved to new site in 1907 because of high water table. At a special meeting it was moved that the name be Carievale Village Cemetery. In 1945 the Fairview Rebekah Lodge #119 took over the caretaking, and trees were planted around the outside of the area. Today the cemetary is surrounded by a beautiful grove of evergreens.
