Geocache Description:

The cache is located adjacent to The Salvation Army School for Officer Training  on the public property side of the fence.

Here at The Salvation Army SFOT "Cadets" students are trained for 2 years in both academics and practical ministry experiences in order to fulfill the roles of an ordained Salvation Army "Officer" Pastor.

This cache is being placed in honor of our fellow Cadet (Ken Rankin) who unexpectedly, as we like to call it was "Promoted to Glory". Cadet Ken Rankin past away Saturday June 2, 2012 after having finished his first year of training.

Ken was a beloved friend of many. He was always smiling, always willing to help anyone, and always loved to share the love of God with anyone who would listen. Ken was a great guy, an amazing friend, a faithful Christian, and new cacher (Awesomest Two).

Ken will be missed, but his memory lives on in those lives he impacted. We hope you enjoy this cache as much as we enjoyed the time we had with our friend.
