Geocache Description:

Quick park & grab with a view. First cache in what I hope to be a series.

This cache features a great view from GZ and no xenergyx endorsed "Sonoma County Vista" could be called number 1 without a glimpse of Mt. St Helena towering over all. The view features the rolling hills of West Sonoma County and of course the grand Sonoma Mountain itself.

There is plenty of room to park on the northbound side of the road.

You may choose to bring a camera during the green season for some extra special shots.

After you grab the cache, you can head south for about a quarter mile and on the right side of the road on the far side of the fence is some exposed lengths of old road. I have marked the exposed road as 2 additional waypoints. It's something you dont see very often.

The cache itself is a small pill bottle.

Watch for cars and barbed wire...
