Cache container is NOT at the posted coordinates. The coordinates are for a path that leads into the woods behind the library. To locate the cache, follow the pathway, enter the woods and find the tree shown in the picture. Then, start looking for the cache.

Eleventh cache in the new NMS (No Micros Series). The Lansing area has seen an explosion of micro and nano caches recently. While tiny caches are okay for number runs, there are only so many light poles and pay phones you can stop at before it gets really boring. If you have children, those tiny caches are not the way to get them and keep them enthused about geocaching. I decided it was time to do something about this. Hence, the NMS was born. Every cache in this series will be a small or larger.
Maxwell and I headed to the library to return some items this afternoon. Afterward, we decided to hide a cache in the woods located behind the library, which is east of the building. We had a cache here before and knew it was a good location for a new one. After wandering around the woods for about 15 minutes, we found a perfect hiding spot for our lock and lock container. So, we hid the cache and then started averaging waypoints.
As a result of the heavy tree cover, we were getting significantly different waypoints for the cache location. After averaging 6 different waypoints without any consistency, I decided that we'd use this as an opportunity to place a mystery cache unlike one we have placed before. To locate the cache, follow the path into the woods and find the tree shown below. The cache is within a 25 foot radius of that tree. Good luck hunting for this one!
