Geocache Description:

A hike along rolling terrain to a favorite sunning spot of many lacertilia.

The cache is hidden in the Dublin Hills Regional Park along a rocky ridge with views of the Donlon Canyon below and Dublin in the distance. The trail is mainly hard packed dirt and gravel, though at times can be somewhat overgrown.

Be on the lookout for critters along your journey, such as cows, gopher snakes, and hawks. The cache is a little bit off the main trail, along the ridge. You’ll find a logbook, swag, and room to exchange trackables, while enjoying the view.

Park hours: March 13-Nov 5, 8:00am to 7:00pm; Nov 6-Feb 13, 8:00am-4:30pm; Feb 14-Mar 12, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Check the official Dublin Hills web page for the latest information.

Parking, restrooms, water fountain, picnic benches, and trail maps available at the Donlon Point Staging Area on Dublin Blvd. Enjoy!
