There are a couple of ways to find this geocaches. You may want to consult the laminated maps in the kiosk by the parking areas. One path is the "long way " and another way takes you on a short switch back trail. On your travels, you'll be hiking through the grasslands. Depending on which season you visit, you may see the summer butterflies or the rust colored tall grasses. If you are a photographer, consider bringing your gear for the landscape and nature photo opportunities.
Welcome to Sycamore Silly! If visiting in the summer, find some of the giant fallen sycamore leaves and try to make a visor out of them. They are super silly and fun to make. This is a really neat tree as the bark is a little "peely" and multi-colored. Please bring something small to trade and a pencil to record your visit on the log. Thanks for visiting!
