I have many fond memories back in the '60s & '70s of the annual Kraut Festival in this park. The Midway, the Kraut Eating Contest, Kraut Queen, Music, Beer, and of course lots and lots of sauerkraut.
The cache is where I think the midway once was - I just backflashed on Gogi Grant singing "The Wayward Wind" as I was walking past the games & rides.
This area can be very busy - stealth may be required.
Congrats to tooncrazy - FTF!! The early bird gets the kraut!!!
