When we first pulled up to place the cache, the first thing I saw was a blue heron fly from the small body of water here ... hence the name of the cache.
This is the fourth in a special series "5 on 50". While on vacation in Kentucky, we cached the series "15 on 15", which consisted of 15 park and grabs on state highway 15. So... our "5 on 50" are 5 park and grab containers along Highway 50 between North Vernon and Versailles State Park. Odd numbers on the South side of highway and even numbers on North side of highway. If you cachers like this series, we are planning a series of "3 on 3" and "11 on 11." Please let us know in the logs.
