Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Pvt. George Shannon Trail caches that will lead you throughout Northeastern Nebraska. Pvt. Shannon became lost near here while traveling with Lewis and Clark and the Corp of Discovery in 1804.

Of course, this place was not here when Pvt Shannon roamed these hills in search of the horses that left their camp while they were in the Yankton SD area. The cemetery across the road is an older and an interesting place, so be sure and stop by and take a look around. Meanwhile, this cache is hiding somewhere among the trees. Please respect the area.  You are actually looking for something a little bit bigger than a micro but not quite a small.
