The town of Chicken has an interesting history. It is said that the original founders wanted to name the town Ptarmigan, after the state bird, but couldn't spell it... so they went with what the bird tastes like...chicken.
My mom is new to caching and wanted to put this one together, since there are only a few along this road not taken by many. Enjoy the drive and happy trails to you. We called it "Chicken Scratch" because it seemed fitting. We stuffed the small container with items from the town of Chicken's Gift Shop. Also, much like our hurried handwriting is called "chicken scratch"...this container was the best we had while "on the road and off the grid". We did our best but it should be a quick easy find, just off the parking lot on a carpeted tundra trail. It's tucked in the carpeted floor of mother nature.
A duct taped Glad container. Hope it is sturdy enough to last for awhile.
Original Cache has travel bug "Jessie", log pad, assorted chicken pins & chicken magnets, chicken lanyard, rubber chicken (that poops eggs!), matches, and a Dust 2 Dawson rubber magnet. It would be great if you could leave the "Chicken Pen" for use while signing the log.
