Legenda głosi, że Lech założył gród w miejscu gdzie zobaczył gniazdo orła na wzgórzu pomiedzy jeziorami. I faktycznie Gniezno jest zlokalizowane w obrębie trzech jezior.

According to the legend that Lech (founder of Poland) founded the city in a place where he saw the eagle's nest on a hill between the lakes. And actually Gniezno is located within the three lakes. Winiary Lake, Świętokrzyskie Lake, Jelonek Lake.
