A public footpath links Lawton Road to Talke Road travelling between the housing on Edwards Way and the nearby industrial sites that border the railway line that links Crewe to The Potteries. Following this path takes you on a easy traffic free route from the village towards other caches by Alsager Station and those on Merelake Way.
La Casa Vecchia - no, not an Italian restaurant, but literally 'The Old House'. Our first hide and named to reflect the family's Italian heritage and the fact that we are close to.... our old house!
This cache can be found in a small wooded area towards one end of Edwards Way. Small paths link the public footpath with the road and all of these paths are popular with local dog walkers. The cache is a small camouflaged plastic box. Road parking is available on Edwards Way but this hide would be much better as part of a walking route linking other Alsager hides.
