We are very fond of this area it holds alot of good times and the view is stunning and yes we have cuddled up watching the sun set before Mr B marched off to the nearest local!!
A lovely setting for photo's and a quiet corner for a cuddle and watch the boats. PLEASE NOTE due to irresponsible hunters removing stone unnecessarily we have decided that there shall be no cache but the view itself will be the cache. So instead of writing just log with a photo of the view. Kind regards b&j6
Borrans Park
Until 1834, Borrans Park was formally divided into three areas known as fisher landing, far landing and Borrans meadow.
In that same year the late Joseph Tyson of Coniston rented these areas of land to Ambleside Urban District Council.
Then in 1925, the Council purchased the land which has isnce been known as Borrans Park.
The park is know owned by South Lakeland District Council, and maintained by there contractors.
The container is abit weird i blame Mr B! ask your man for some chocolate and he came back with that!!. You will need your own pen only had room for a little log plenty room write on.
