From the
City of Sammamish web site:
The Sammamish Landing is a 8.23 acre site located along the eastern shoreline of Lake Sammamish at the northwest corner of the City of Sammamish. It is the only stretch of land along the shoreline of Lake Sammamish that is in public ownership within the City limits. King County property and the East Lake Sammamish multi-use trail bisect the project site. The master plan (adopted in July 2010) was reviewed and coordinated with the County in an effort to incorporate the trail into the design and deliver a seamless experience to the park/trail user.
From the suggested parking, walk down the hill and through the underpass to cross East Lake Sammamish Parkway NE and get to the King County East Lake Sammamish Trail. Head south on the trail and less than 1/2 mile you will reach Sammamish Landing Park. Cache is a bison tube hidden along a trail in the park. Park closes at dusk.
Congratulations to imachitch, FrodoB and sleuthhounds for the FTF!
