Series of 10 caches along the Savanna to Riverview portion of the Great River Trail. The caches vary from one to 40 feet from the trail. Containers vary from pill bottle (6), seed cache (1), preform (1), and bison (2). Four are placed low and six are placed from 4 to 6 feet above the ground. No trees were climbed in placing these caches.
This one is dedicated to the Clinton Area Geocachers (24hawki, sunluver, Cosmic Cachers, Clown Shoes, and others) who have placed many caches for our enjoyment. Although I grew up in Thomson, their hides have taken me to places in this area that I did not know existed. As a result, geocaching is always on my to do list when I come back to visit my parents.
