Geocache Description:

The Paddle Steamer Curlip is often moored here. It was a replica built by hand and recently restored to travel up and down this mighty river once again. Launched in 2009, it is now a treasure for tourists when bookings are made.

I had always wondered what it would be like to put out a difficult to find cache. As I cache to see the spot not for the difficulty of the hide. This is my attempt. But that cache disappeared before it was even found.

Luckily Chaplain Mike and Smart Sassy Siren had a spare cache that they have set nearby. It is experimental cache made by TigersDen and comments on what people think of it will be appreciated. Including whether or not it should be a multi or a traditional cache as you need a tool to open it. At the time of writing, I have only seen a photograph of it. It has been placed in plain site. when looking from the correct direction.

THANKS TO CHAPLAIN MIKE AND SMART SASSY SIREN FOR REPLACING MY CACHE.

A TOOL IS REQUIRED FOR ITS OPENING.
