This cache is available in Ecclesall woods. Ecclesall Woods are situated in the south west of Sheffield, and cover 140 hectares (i.e. around 350 acres). They are the largest semi-natural woodland in South Yorkshire. The woods are an extremely popular visitor destination and are particularly valued for their wildlife, historic and archaeological features.
A loverly walk through the woods, with rivers and streams, dont forget the astounding views and wildlife. This can be turned into a short walk or a long walk round whirlow to find the other caches left be other people. You can cut through the wood and get to millhouse park for a long and enjoyable day walk with the family. Thank you to Sheffield City Council for letting us place this cache. Sheffield City Council (Parks & Countryside) have very kindly granted special permission for this cache but will be monitoring the area. Please try not to desturbe the enviroment or creature living there.
