This cache is located near a small secluded waterfall on the Red Cedar trail, which plays host to a large variety of small animals, especially squirrels. The Red Cedar trail is perfect for hiking but for those who’d prefer to ride their bikes a State Bike Trail Pass is required. These passes are available for purchase at the second set of coordinates listed below for parking. Rock climbing is discouraged in order to maintain the beauty of the waterfall
Thank you all who found this cache, this was one of my favorite locations when I lived in the Menomonie area, hopefully you all enjoyed the area as much as I did. Sadly it looks like the near by cliff face has collapsed on to where the cache was, and I was unable to retrieve it. This cache will now be archived as I no longer live in the area, hopefully another will place a cache here
