Geocache Description:

CANOE REQUIRED!! A nice paddle around the islands of Loch Chon near Kinlochard and a short scramble through some rough and a few fallen trees. Mind the geese!

A very short drive to the west of Kinlochard and Loch Ard lies the smaller more picturesque Loch Chon.

Make sure you have your canoe!

Put in and paddle to the "Middle Island" (middle in both stature and location)

Land on the South side of the island and climb to the summit where you will find a large tree fallen on its side with two thinner trees lying on their side above it.

The cache is buried under a large "slab" of stone nearwhere the fallen tree lies agaisnt the upright tree........... seek and ye shall find!

This Cache placed with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission Scotland. Other than the cache- Please leave only footprints and take only memories from this beautiful spot- the amount of lager cans and rubbish that i cleaned up when i visited was sickening.
