My original John Kyrle cache went missing so I archived it and am now placing a new one in a similar location on John Kyrle's Walk.
I grew up in Ross and often walked this route above the "Little Woods" as a boy. When I discovered that there were no geocaches near Ross, I decided that it was time to place one. John Kyrle (1637-1724) was a local benefactor who became known as "The Man of Ross" He laid out the Prospect gardens, brought water, built the Market House etc. His town house still stands next to the Market House. Note The cache is adjacent to the path above the woods. There is no need to enter the orchard. Please rehide carefully. Cache is a plastic tub in a camo bag on John Kyrle's Walk. It should be approached from the field side of the hedge. Congratulations to the Hatch family on FTF!
