Geocache Description:

The first in a series of caches that will take you through a lovely natural area in the heart of Peterborough's suburbia.

The series follows a bubbling creek surrounded by forest and into an open meadow habitat. Look for creek chub, white suckers and blacknose dace in the creek. Lots of songbirds visit the area and keep your eyes peeled for sharp shinned hawks.

Parking is adjacent to the cache area. Extreme stealth is needed due to its residential nature. Please return the cache exactly as you found it and bring your own pen. Trade items must be very small.

If you are proceeding to #2, the terrain can be wet, especially in spring. Crossing the creek is necessary, but there are lots of spots to do so without getting your feet wet. You can also drive to cache #3 and backtrack.
