Geocache Description:

Incase of my health I'm not aible to repair the cache in a short wile, so If somebody will replace a new canaster and logbook it will be very helpfull. Thanks in advance.

This is one of the most spectecuraly waterfalls in the region near Alanya.
The great thing about this spot is the lack of hoards of tourists.
The side is unspoilt, and the waterfall is really spectacular.


UCANSU SELALESI


It’s often a case of ‘no pain no gain’
This is certainly true in the case of Ucansu Selalesi (the flying waterfall) situated in the Gündögmus district, about 50 kilometres north of Alanya.
Whilst the journey is not so far in km, the winding route through the mountains makes it a bit of a trek.
A journey which, without a shadow of doubt, is well worth the effort, immediately you set eye upon the wild water crashing down from various openings in the rock surface. A trip to the Ucansu waterfall makes a great day trip, especially if you enjoy beautiful views and unspoilt countryside.

Comming from Alanya, turn right in Konakli, towards Gündögmus. Along the way you pass through villages like Güzelbag. Halfway the road between Güzelbag and Gündögmus alongside the river, which is the major source of water in this region, you find the Kemer village at N.36.45.473 E. 32.01.700.
from there take the second road to the left, uphill into a small road. At N.36.46.042 take the left road and at N.36.46.868 turn to the right. After some km you may reach, this waterfall, where you can find a nice cool picnic area with terraces and a restaurant.

It is free reachable from the road. you can take a dip in the water and swim to the waterfall.
