Enjoy a great view of the Hill Country at the upper viewing area. Continue down the trail to view the historic railroad tunnel and watch as bats fly about inside. TRAIL CLOSES EACH DAY AROUND 5 P.M. DURING APRIL THROUGH NOVEMBER AND AT SUNSET DECEMBER THROUGH MARCH. The trail is short but steep. There are steps and a handrail in the steep areas.
