Geocache Description:

** UPDATE November 2015 ** A new solar farm is being built in fields near this cache. I'm assured it won't affect the cache but it may lead to more muggles to avoid.
You are looking for a traditional cache with room for swaps near a 'swamp'.

This one can be a bit muddy after a bit of rain and suitable footwear should be worn, e.g. wellies.

Bring your own pen/pencil!

** SCENE DESCRIPTION **
Vern: How are we supposed to get across this?
Teddy: We use you as a raft.
   Vern: Very funny.
Chris: Hey, it's not that deep, we can walk across.
Vern: I told you we should've stuck to the tracks.
Gordie: Vern, there's something on your neck!
Vern: Gee, right. I'm not falling for that one, Lachance.
Chris: No Vern, there is something on your neck.
Teddy: It's a leech. Leeches! Get them off!
Chris: Hey, Gordie-man there's some on your back!
 Gordie: Get them off!

Leeches, why'd it have to be leeches?

The shortcut that we'd taken that day took us through the swamps, which turned out to be a great breeding ground for leeches.

Hopefully the way isn’t too wet for you today. Just be careful you don't end up waist deep in water too. Watch out for those leeches!

** TRIVIA **

Horrifically, the leech scene really happened to Stephen King when he was a kid. It was his friend who passed out, though, not Stephen.

The pond the boys fall into was a man made pool because the crew wanted them to be "safe and secure" and didn't want to put them a real pond because they didn't know what would be in it. But Corey Feldman stated in a interview the joke of the whole thing was they built and filled it with water in the beginning of June and by time they got to film the scene it was in the end of August. So it been out in the woods for 3 month and they didn't know what was in it anyway.

** Don't forget to make a note of the number from this cache - it'll help towards the coordinates for the bonus cache. **
