Geocache Description:

This cache is the Northernmost cache on the Erie Canal. Cache is a bison tube placed a few meters from the historical placard designating this geographical fact. Since the Erie Canal towpath is officially open only during daylight hours, please do this cache only at that time.

This cache provides a good destination for anyone who wishes a pleasant walk or bike ride on the canal. Go west from the town of Albion somewhat more than a mile. On the way, one can also do the very nice Rainbow caches created by Mighty Pirate. But be sure, in doing all of these caches, to watch out for our native scourge, poison ivy. Congratulations to Merrygoround09 for getting out there in the rain and being first to find for this cache. And yes--his suggestion that people should bring tweezers is good. I meant to write it down earlier but I forgot.
