Geocache Description:

This series, FWP or Famous Wisconsin People, will acknowledge the accomplishments of some well-known (and maybe not so well-known) individuals from our state.

Terry Meeuwsen was born in De Pere, WI on March 2, 1949. Terry was Miss Wisconsin 1972 and the winner of the Miss America Pageant in 1973, winning both the talent and the swimsuit competitions. She was the first Miss Wisconsin to be named Miss America. She worked for WTMJ-TV from 1979-1986. In 1993, she became a permanent co-host of the 700 Club with Pat Robertson.

You are searching for a small cache placed in honor of Terry Meeuwsen's accomplishments.

Please enter from Parkland Drive parking area. Do not enter from private property in the neighboring subdivisions. Parking will be limited in the evenings that there are soccer games, so plan accordingly. Please consider coming at times that the park will not be used for soccer games/practice for a more comfortable experience.

This cache was placed with permission from Craig Anderson from the City of Muskego Park and Recreation Department. According to Anderson, the park is open 5 am til 10 pm. As always, treat the parks with respect. This can be a very high traffic area so please be aware of muggles and replace cache so that it is not visible to others. Thanks! Congratulations to Sevencards on being the FTF!
