1871 gick de sju systrarna Rappe runt i parken. De var döttrar till den nyligen avlidne änkan till Wilhelm Rappe som hade ägt gården. De hittade en sjustammig bok som de lät rista in sina namn i, Ingeborg, Helfrid, Signild, Blenda, Göthilda, Estrid och Linnéa.
Boken beräknas vara 300 år gammal och 140 år efter inristningen står boken fortfarande kvar, lite ärrad av vädret. Det går fortfarande att tyda flickornas namn även om de idag har glidit isär.

1871 went the seven sisters Rappe around the park. They were daughters of the recently deceased widow of Wilhelm Rappe who had owned the farm. They found a seven strained beech that they carved their names in, Ingeborg, Helfrid, Signild, Blenda, Göthilda, Estrid and Linnea.
The beech is expected to be 300 years old and 140 years after the inscription the beech is still there, a little scarred by the weather. You can still decipher the girls name, even if they currently have drifted apart.
