Naturrum Thyborøn
Formålet med Naturrum Thyborøn er at vise naturkræfterne, der gør sig gældende ved Vestkysten og naturens reaktion på dem, bl.a. nedbrydning og tilpasning.
De vindomsuste klitter, de mildere strandenge og det barske Vesterhav mødes her med menneskets forsøg på at tæmme naturen.
Intentionen med Naturrummet er at sætte fokus på stedets særlige attraktioner: naturen, havet, fjord og fugle, samt de historiske spor som bunkere og kunstige søer.

Naturrummet indeholder
Der er udgravet en bunker, som kan anvendes som shelter, eller man kan bare gå en tur ned i bunkeren og se, hvad den indeholder.
Naturrum Thyborøn har etableret to vandreture i området, en rute på 4 km og en på 11 km. Her kan du følge de opsatte infoskilte rundt i området og lære mere om bl.a. fuglelivet og naturen, man færdes i.
Derudover er der en legeplads for både børn og voksne med bl.a. legehuse, sten med mønster fra naturen, armgangsstativ m.m. I dette område vil du også kunne finde Info-cuben, som er en 2x2m beton-cube, som skal illustrere en bunker. Herfra kan du få en mængde informationer serveret på en spændende måde.
Andetsteds i området finder du en bålplads, hvor du kan komme ud i det fri og tilberede din egen mad. Her vil der være udsigt over Lagunesøen, i hvilken der er placeret nogle trædesten.
Fra parkeringspladsen kan du sidde under halvtag på rastepladsen og spise din frokost, og her er der også adgang til toilet.
Naturrummet er handicapvenligt, så det er nemt at komme ind på rastepladsen og toilettet, ydermere kan man komme op på en handicapvenlig udsigtsmole, hvor der er udsigt over havet og stranden.
Nature-room Thyborøn
The purpose of Naturrum Thyborøn is to show the natural forces that exist on the West Coast and the natural reaction to them, including degradation and adaptation.
The windswept dunes, the milder coastal meadows and the rugged North Sea meet here with the man's attempt to tame nature. The intention of Naturrum Thyborøn is to focus on the place of special attractions: nature, sea, inlet and birds, as well as the historical remains as bunkers and artificial lakes.
The Nature-room contains
There are excavated a bunker, which can be used as a shelter, or you can just stroll into the bunker and see what it contains.
Naturrum Thyborøn has established two hikes in the area, a route of 4 km and 11 km. Here you can follow the stated information signs around the area and learn more about particular bird life and nature, you walk in.
There is also a playground for both children and adults with particular playhouses, stones with patterns from nature. In this area you will also find the Info-cube, which is a 2x2m concrete cube, which will illustrate a bunker. From here you can get an amount of information served in an exciting way.
Elsewhere in the area you will find a fireplace where you can get out in the open and cook your own food. There is a beautiful view of the Lagoon lake in which there is located a few stepping stones.
From the car park you can sit under cover in the rest area and eat your lunch, and here there is also access to toilet. The space is handicap friendly, so it's easy to enter the rest area and toilet, furthermore, you can come up on a handicapped accessible pier where there are view of the ocean and the beach.
