Located near the Crocus Bluff Viewpoint in Dawson City, Yukon.
Best way to get to the cache is to drive up Mary McLeod road from downtown Dawson and park at the Crocus Bluff Recreational parking area. King Street leads from Front Street to the base of Mary McLeod road. Look at the map of Dawson to plan your route. From the parking area it's a short walk along a gravel trail to the viewpoint.
The cache is now a winter friendly cache
Enjoy the view and the small seating area at the Bluff.
The Dawson Cemetaries, some dating to 1898, are a short distance further along Mary McLeod road. You can also continue along till you get to the Dome road. From there you can go up to the "Top of the Dome" for a stunning view (and a geocache).
It's a relatively easy walk or bike ride up Mary McLeod road to the Crocus Bluff recreational area even though it is a bit of a steep gravel road but if you want to continue up to the Dome it's best to drive as it's a very steep, paved road.
