Another one named for our granddaughter as she turns three.
A small painted plastic jar with a few little goodies. Bring your own writing utensil.
Hidden in Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park in Lenexa. A wonderful park with many amenities including a swimming pool, 2 acre lake, sand volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts, picnic shelters, playground areas, community garden, and walking trails. It’s home to the Legler Barn and Historical Museum, railroad caboose, and restored railroad museum and Strang Line waiting station. Each year the park hosts the Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle and other festivals. We would recommend not going after this hide while those events are being held.
Be advised, the direct approach from the pavement is not the best approach to this hide. Watch out for loose barbed wire in the area. PI wasn't noted there, but is a possibility..
October 22, 2012: Container is now a painted tin. Yes, if you do it right, you can get it out of there...
June 4, 2014: Now a painted small plastic jar. Again, you have to work it right, but it will come out.
