This cache is situated at the end of Nooning Lane in Draycott, Derbyshire. Draycott held its first Scarecrow Festival in 2012 with 5000 people on the streets of Draycott over the May bank holiday weekend. Also in 2012, Draycott had its 8th Arts and Open Garden festival, where homes and gardens were open to the public.
Draycott was for several centuries a farming community, but as industry grew so did Draycott. Draycott people are traditionally known as ‘Neddies’.
