The Eagles Have Landed
It's not everyday that eagles are bred in captivity. Actually, the first two British Columbian eaglets in captivity have just recently hatched both are thriving. It's not been a perfect story so far, the eaglets were removed from Mom and Dad at first because Mom was feeling a little stressed and was taking it out on Dad, but they are now back living with Dad, and Mom should be reintroduced shortly. It's expected that both eaglets will join Mom and Dad on their adventures helping educate people about raptors, do some flying demonstrations and maybe even get into a little film work! Most of the birds you see on TV or in movies are trained birds, after all, how often do you see an eagle fly exactly where you want them to go!
