jeffgamer: Went on a maintenance run of a few Gamer caches today. Here's the rundown:

"The ABC's of Geocaching: .....C.....": It had one DNF on it. I checked on it, it's still exactly where it was when last I saw it. No maintenance needed.

"The ABC's Final: ......D?": Didn't have any DNF's on it, but nobody's attempted it in two years, so I decided to check on it. It was missing. I've replaced it in the same structure, but lower than before. Good to go now!

"2 4": It had two DNF's on it. I checked on it, and it was indeed missing. I've now replaced it. Good to go now!

"Peggy's Cache": While the most recent log was a smiley, I happened to be biking by the spot on Monday and didn't see the cache, so I returned today to check more thoroughly. Yeahhhh.....it's missing, and I don't have a replacement container of the same type ever since Peggy left my tutelage. Sadly, I am archiving this one. HOWEVER...on the plus side...a new cache will be published in the near vicinity because of the freeing up of the space! Soon to be published.....

Geocache Description:


Hi! My name is Peggy (but my friends call me Peg for short, LOL). I'm a student in JeffGamer's SAT course. Jeff sometimes mentions his geocaching adventures in class, and he got me intrigued enough to want to hide a cache myself. He volunteered to help me hide it and insisted that the cache be named after me!

You're looking for a micro-sized geocache. You should bring your own pen to sign the log. You should also bring a tweezers with you because it might be a bit tough to shake the log paper out...unless you're really adept at shaking old-style thermometers!

We ask that, when you find the cache, please make sure to put it in the EXACT same spot where you found it...don't put it any higher, because that would put the cache container at risk for multiple reasons.

Before this cache was published, Jeff spoke with the owner of the house just to the south of the cache and showed him where the cache is hidden, and the man said it was no problem. However, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not park to the south of the posted coordinates, as that will put you onto his property and we don't want to bust any boundaries, right? Instead, we suggest that you park just across the road, NORTH of the listed coordinates, on the swale next to the fence.

As my esteemed instructor would say, "Cache on!"
