islander1988: I've wondered before whether to keep this cache going. While the spot is a convenient one for train travelers to grab an easy find, the hiding spot itself is less than scenic and less than ideal. After the last finder's log, I decided it was time to shut this one down. Perhaps someone else can find a nicer spot near the station for people to visit, maybe on the other side of the building near the restaurants.

Geocache Description:

A quick cache located near the Kyiv Central Train Station, continuing the series of caches near metro stations. While this a convenient place for people travelling to grab a quick find, the area of the cache is not scenic. Please watch out for trash on the ground, and do not reach in places you can not see. The cache should be visible from the ground if you are looking in the right place.

One very nice feature of Ukraine is the affordability of travel by mass transportation. From the Central Train Station in Kyiv you can head out to many parts of the country, and while amenities on the trains may be minimal, the price is extremely affordable compared to train travel in North America.

The cache is located in the parking area near the station. Use stealth as lots of muggles will probably be around.

This cache was hidden the day after the first round of Euro 2012 games finished. For the first time in almost two weeks there are not any matches tonight, and unfortunately Ukraine didn't make it to the next round.

It's possible that at least some of the passengers today were football (soccer) fans heading home. This cache is dedicated to all the people who have been visiting Kyiv for Euro.
