Geocache Description:

BFF Caching Buddies, KeyResults and 2katz have dropped another hide for your geocaching enjoyment. We hope you are out and enjoying the day with one or more of your geocaching BFF’s!

You are looking for a micro sized container but not a nano. Too small for swag or pen, so bring your own writing utensil please.

This cache is hidden on a now little used stretch of of road- now renamed Lacey Road - bypassed with the re-route of Huffsmith Kohrville Road. Before this bypass was made, this section of Huffsmith-Kohrville Rd was among Harris County’s most treacherous and dangerous hair-pin turns. Over the many years this area became more populated and traffic along this road increased dramatically. The combination of back to back 90-degree sharp turns, and the 55 mpg speed limit of the past, made this stretch too tempting for sportscar enthusiasts wanting to test the limits of their machines. All too often the driver and car proved no match for the “Huffsmtih-Kohrville Hairpin” and the result - sometimes several per week - was a sometimes fatal crash. It wasn't just racers that lost it on these turns. Many a driver unfamiliar with the area or caught on the unusually flat wet pavement of these sharp turns had to dial their insurance agent too…if they were lucky… Originally, the road had only steep drainage ditches on both side of the road, but it was so dangerous that one side was fitted with large underground drain pipe and then covered in an attempt to make the this turn safer. This cache is located on one of the dangerous former turns above the installed drain. Oh, one last thing, some of you may find that teamwork is needed on this cache. Good luck!
