For the longest time, I wanted to place a cache on this most intriguing structure...
A quick Park 'N Grab along the TransCanada Highway.
All good cachers will always carry
a writing implement
and also replace the cache "exactly" where they found it!
Thanks to Navypeople, I finally know what this structure is.
See the related webpage to learn more about it.
"It is the stand for either the lamp or the receiver from an RVR (Runway Visual Range). This equipment was situated beside the runway and was used to measure the visibility at runway level for the information of Air Traffic Controllers. It was one of the first pieces of equipment to use semiconductors and digital technology to do its job."
