Geocache Description:

Mine Your lIne then get Over It.

This is the second track in a loop of singletrackin a series of geocaches to highlight the fantastic mountain bike trails that we have to the West of Albury on Nailcan hill.

Called ‘Get Over It’ this was the first trail in which a “trail fairy” (the tireless volunteer caretakers of MTB trails who are often seen with shovels and loads of soil reconstructing eroded parts of the trail) kindly built the first of many timber bridges over a wet part of the track. The old saying Build a bridge and get over it fits here.

To access this cache I would start from Range Rd and walk up the firetrail and then turn left up along the Ridge trail. When navigating to this area I would recommend doing it on a Mountain bike to speed up the time or if you are after a lengthy walk (albeit an enjoyable one) it will take you about an hour or 2. During summer months it's advisable to take your own water as there are no taps up here.

The Get over it track is accessed by traveling along the ridge trail until you reach Corbys trail. Follow Corbys trail down past where Mine You Line comes out and walk a further 20-30m and on your Right hand side you will see the start of the track. This is not a lengthy track and comes out at Coopers trail which will take you back to the ridge trail.

Alternatively you can access it from Centaur rd end and travel along the ridge trail until you reach Coopers track. Walk approx 150m down and Get Over it is on your right.

Remember the rule of thumb if you get lost around Nailcan hill is when in doubt always head upwards as this will always take you to the top and to the ridge trail.

Cache is a small container with some small swaps.

See you on the trail!!
