Richard Phillips Feynman was born in New York in 1918 and left the world in February of 1988 at the age of 69. Feynman is known mainly for his contributions to physics. Feynman worked on the development of the atomic bomb (Manhattan Project), as well as taught and researched at Cal Tech.
